Gensingen Brace

The Gensingen Cheneau brace a 3D correctional brace made of a lightweight, polyethylene plastic. The straps are placed on the front of the brace so our patients are able to put their braces on independently. State-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology allow best fitting accuracy. The asymmetrical design allows the body to unwind into the expansion areas that are built into the brace and does not put force against the chest. This avoided deformation of the ribcage and improves comfort and compliance. The design of the brace is individualized based on curve patten specific classifications (Augmented Lehnert-Schroth), making the brace compatible with Schroth method. This brace is able to be utilized as both full-time or night-time bracing. The goal of our bracing design is to improve posture to be more balanced, reduce rib and hip prominences, and curve reduction.
